MINNEAPOLIS - Two Texas men who authorities say planned to target law
enforcement during the Republican National Convention face federal charges
of illegally possessing Molotov cocktails.
David Guy McKay, 22, and Bradley Neil Crowder, 23, both of Austin, are each
charged with one count of possession of firearms that were not registered to
It's very interesting the way the law gets twisted into any meaning
these days ESPECIALLY at a political convention which seem to allow
police a free hand to do most anything. Note that these gentlemen
(who were NOT nice guys by they way, who planed to throw the cocktails
at police to maim or burn them) did have 10 "Molotov Cocktails"
constructed and stored in an apartment for use on police but somehow
these "destructive devices" come to be called "unregistered firearms"?
I guess the penalties for gasoline in glass containers wasn't strong
enough so Feds just had to make up a new law on the spot! What's
next? I guess we can expect the Yew Ess to follow the lead of the Yoo
Kay and start calling pointy sticks "unregistered firearms".
One might think that these guys really needed to be in jail and yeah,
they did. But when you simply give police and courts a blank warrant
to make up laws as they go it's no wonder that groups start forming
who ALSO have no respect for the law.
